Well I'm up to my old trick on dragging my feet on getting this site put together so I can actually publish. I didn't even touch it yesterday and today it has been open and staring at me every time I sit at the computer so I just don't sit at the computer. I don't know why I have such an aversion to finishing this project and getting it rolled out. I put a few links out that I enjoy. Yesterday I had a phone interview and that was my excuse for not getting more done on this. At least the phone interview went well. Maybe it will net me a job. That would be great! Then I would have a "real" excuse for why this project is dragging on.
We are getting rid of some old furniture and need to get all our big garbage together this weekend for setting out for pickup on Wednesday. I started that project yesterday morning before the heat turned on and got a very little accomplished. Today the sun hid all day and the heat never turned on but I was not motivated to get much more done on that project either. Well….there are still 4 more days to get it out there…
Fixed some yummy red thai curry for dinner. Added a side of stir fried veges (a bit of everything we had in a pan) and a pot of rice. ummmm. just decided I wanted some desert and went out and put together a pecan pie and put it in the over. It should be ready in 45 minutes or so.
I spent a ton of time wasted today with facebook trying to figure out why my pinterest likes were not all posting. I never did figure that one out and finally determined that was one of the reasons I started this site in the first place…I was sick and tired of facebook changing things and things not working like I think they should a good portion of the time.
It took a bit of time playing with the blog here before I figured out what was going on with the new entry and how each entry is seeming to create a link at the top of the current page to the previous entries. not sure if I like that. what happens when I have a years worth of blog entries…am I going to have 300 links up there and does anyone really care anyway?
Eventually my blog entries are going to have to get on topic… a theme … rather than just ramblings but for now while I am getting this built ramblings are rather fun.
